Fruit crops.
Remove the bait from the sachet, place it in the center of the trap and place it at a height of about 1 m. For monitoring, the density of the baits should be at least 1 per hectare, but less than 2 per farm. It is recommended to start using baits even before the development of the first generation of the pest, and continue until the end of the season.

Pheromone bait for monitoring and catching Apple bark beetle (Scolytus mali), a dangerous pest of fruit trees (apple, stone fruits). The larvae harm - gnawing long straight passages in the wood. Trunks and thick (up to 22 cm) branches of fruit trees are attacked. Weakened branches wither. The bait is a rubber dispenser containing artificially synthesized and identical to natural Scolytus mali pheromone and is in a sealed metallized sachet. A pheromone is a highly specific chemical that is only recognized by members of a single species and will attract male pests for 4-6 weeks.
Advantages:
- for 6 weeks, Scolytus mali is attracted by bait and caught by a trap, which gives a clear picture of the pest population;
- pest detection at early stages of population development;
- the possibility of mass capture;
- easy to use with deltoid and other types of traps.
Precautionary measures:
- Handle with care, avoid extensive hand contact and wear gloves when handling the product;
- Do not eat or drink while handling the product.
