Pheromone bait for monitoring and trapping peach fruit moth (Caprosina nipponensis) - a dangerous pest that damages the fruits of wild and cultivated fruit plants of stone fruits and cereals. Among the fodder plants of the peach moth are pear, apple, apricot, peach, plum, quince, chokeberry, mountain ash, dogwood, hawthorn, almonds, wild rose, dates. The bait is a rubber dispenser containing artificially synthesized and identical to natural pheromone Caprosina nipponensis and is in a sealed metallized sachet. Pheromone is a highly specific chemical that is only recognized by members of a single species and will attract male peach moths for 4-6 weeks.
