The red delta trap by BKS is the optimal device for trapping horticultural pests, fruit flies, in particular Drosophila suzukii and tomato leaf miner (Tuta absoluta) in open and protected ground. The deltoid trap is quick and easy to assemble and simply requires the addition of a pheromone bait which, when placed in the center of the trap, will attract and trap pests. Also, the trap is painted in a color that additionally attracts target pests.
The use of a delta trap ensures that you are alerted to the presence of unwanted pests at an early stage, detecting insects before they become a serious problem, and being able to control them in a timely and effective manner. The adhesive insert can be easily removed from the trap for replacement or pest counting. In addition, placing more traps per unit area can capture more insects and help with population control.
