Ferolight light trap
Tomato leafminer (Tuta absoluta) and thrips.
The trap is easy to set up and use, and can last through many seasons thanks to its rugged construction and solar power. To catch Tuta absoluta, use 20 to 25 traps per hectare, spaced approximately 15 m apart. The pheromone bait should be replaced every 4-6 weeks.

Ferolight is a trap specially designed to trap the most dangerous quarantine pest of the tomato, the tomato leafminer (Tuta absoluta) and other flying pests, including thrips.
Mechanism of action: Ferolite emits a specific light of a certain wavelength to lure the Tuta absoluta into a water trap. Also, the efficiency of trapping is enhanced in the case of the use of sex pheromones of target pests. The plastic base is simply filled with water and a thin layer of oil to trap pests without the use of pesticides. The trap is self-contained thanks to solar-powered batteries that are programmed to fire when the pest is most active.
Advantages:
- thanks to the combined action of pheromones and the radiation of the attracting Tuta absoluta, the success of trapping the pest increases by 200-300% compared to a traditional water trap containing only pheromones;
- autonomy of the lamp (LED lamp receives a charge from the solar battery and is able to shine for 4 hours without stopping);
- Ferolight has a "cold glow" as LED diodes do not heat up, which makes it safe for beneficial insects;
- the lamp emits light during twilight, the peak time of summer for Tuta absoluta;
- made in England - quality guaranteed by three royal awards;
- the product is able to serve more than 3 seasons;
- the product is easy to install and use;
- attracts both male and female moths;
- can be used with any bait and with solid pheromones.
