Hypoaspis miles is a predatory soil mite with a wide list of food sources, its diet includes the immobile stage of thrips, sciarid larvae (cucumber and fungus gnats), root worm, soil aphids, Scatella tenuicosta and other arthropods. Not compatible with most root-applied insecticides.
As a polyphage, in the absence of prey, it can survive for several weeks feeding on substrate particles and algae. The tick has a light brown color and reaches up to 1 mm in length. Not compatible with most root-applied insecticides. Demonstrates high efficiency in controlling target pests in soil and pot crops.
