FELTIcontrol Feltiella acarisuga

The larva which comes from the egg eats the eggs, nymphs or adults of red spider mites. The F. acarisuga larvae can control effectively large populations of red spider mites.

Bottle of 250 pupae.

Transport and storage

Keep the bottle horizontally and at a temperature of 8-10ºC. Do not break the cold chain in all the transport and storage process. Do not store the product after 48 hours of receipt, and never expose it to sunlight or pesticides.

PURPOSE AND APPLICATION

Target pest:

The F. acarisuga larvae can control effectively large populations of red spider mites.

Crops:

It is used in several horticultural, ornamental and fruit crops. The development of this predator is optimal in the summer, slowed down in the autumn and winter. It can also be used in heated greenhouses.

Application:

RECOMMENDED DOSE

Release 250 individuals per hot spot weekly for 3-4 weeks.

USE

Open the bottle and place it in the shadow next to the plant attacked by the red spider. Leave the bottle there for at least two weeks. In case of severe hot spots of red spider, it is recommended to use ANDERcontrol and PHYTOcontrol too.

The adults of Feltiella acarisuga are unable to find single red spider mites. However, they can find the hot spot of red spider mites, and lay their eggs close to these hot spots. The larva which comes from the egg eats the eggs, nymphs or adults of red spider mites. The F. acarisuga larvae can control effectively large populations of red spider mites. The adults are not predators, and they only need water and sugar to survive.
