Aphidius ervi is a parasitic wasp of the aphid species Macrosiphum euphorbie and Aulacorthum solani. Once the wasp finds the prey, lays an egg inside it. The larva eats the aphid from inside, four days later the mummy is formed and a new adult of A. ervi comes out from the dead aphid. This adult can parasitize 300 aphids more.
